ValleyLife Arizona Vocational Programs

The mission of our Vocational Program is to support the disabled members of our community who are in need of assistance in obtaining gainful employment. We firmly believe that job opportunities should be available for all community members, regardless of the challenges they may face and for those community members with disabilities, there are often many hurdles on the road to meaningful work.

VALLEYLIFE offers several services through our Vocational Program that help our Members navigate barriers to employment. We provide assessment, ongoing education, daily living skills, supervised community employment, and job development for those who need it. Additionally, we offer assistance with resume building, interview skills, and job search support.  Our program is customizable to the specific needs of each Member we serve.

The Vocational program provides support services to more than 150 individuals every day in their quest for employment opportunities.  Our highly skilled staff ensures we provided these much needed services in a supportive setting that encourages independence.   Each Member is provided with a customized program geared specifically for their employment needs.  Components of these programs may include;

• Job Development
• Placement Services

 

In addition, our vocational program partners with many local businesses and organizations that provide not only employment and training opportunities for our Members, but provide quality services to the business or organization as well.  VALLEYLIFE is always looking for new community partners and can provide many service such as;

• Janitorial Services
• Pool Cleaning Service
• Landscape Maintenance Service
• Restaurant services (i.e., silverware rolling, menu assembly, table setting, general cleaning, etc.)
• Sorting and Packaging Service
