Higher Hopes Day Treatment and Vocational Training

Higher Hopes is an agency specializing in providing support for adults with disabilities through day programming, competitive employment and the development of life skills.  Higher Hopes' provides support and tranpsortation throughout the Northwest and Southwest Valley.

Higher Hopes goes above and beyond standard services by providing daily educational modules such as reading, writing and money management skills as well as creative arts, language classes, culinary classes and daily physical fitness.  The program has weekly music and art therapists that visit the program to provide the members with creative art lessons.

Higher Hopes' community involvement includes outings to museums, bowling, volunteering in the community, laser tag, aquariums, movie outings, nature walks, local restaurants, casino trips and Special Olympic Competitions as well as many other community activities.

Higher Hopes has a Thrift Store that provides vocational training and  job opportuntities for members.  The opportuntites offered through the thrift store include; clerical, retail associate, janitorial and refurbishing used furniture and electronics.
